7. Rent a boat. 2007 is already turning out to be a warm winter, excellent for a cruise with good food, drink and company.
8. Have a get-together at a park. Parks such as Laurel Park have big BBQ areas available for cheap rent and perfect for family, church or company weekend fun.
9. Lake Lanier Islands’ Magical Nights of Lights. See one of the lake's biggest attractions dressed up in lights.
10. Go swimming! Or at least watch other people do it. News Years Day is home to the annual Polar Bear Swim .
